The contact form
When you send the form, the name, email address, organization and message you typed are emailed to NGCC5 so that someone can reply. They are not stored on this website. They pass through the email delivery service that carries the message to NGCC5's inbox, and are shared with no one else.
Cookies
Reading the site's pages sets no cookies unless an investor code or a preview password has been entered on that device. Entering an investor code sets two: one so that you are not asked for the code again on that device for thirty days, which carries a signed fingerprint of the code and not the code itself, and one holding a random number for ninety days, so that one device's visits can be told from another's. A device that holds a code but not that second cookie is given it on the next page it opens. On a private preview of this site, entering its password sets two in the same way: one so that you are not asked for the password again for fourteen days, and the same ninety-day random number. Opening the demonstration sets another, holding a random number that keeps your place in it for thirty days. None of these cookies contains your name.
Investor codes
NGCC5 gives each code to a named person and can withdraw it at any time. When a code is used, the site records the time, how many times that code has been used and a short, generic label for the browser, so that NGCC5 can see its invitation was opened. In the demonstration you may ask for a decision to be recorded under your own name. Only then is the name on your code written into that record and into the file you download; it stays in your own copy of the demonstration, which is deleted after thirty days.
Visits made with an investor code
Visits made with an investor code, or on a private preview of this site with its password, are recorded for NGCC5: when each visit started and how long it lasted, the pages opened and the time spent on each, the buttons and links clicked, the kind of device and browser, and the approximate city the hosting provider reports for the connection. The network address itself is not kept, and nothing typed into a field is recorded this way. A visit made with a code is linked to the person NGCC5 issued the code to. This record is shown only on NGCC5's private administration page, is not shared, and is deleted ninety days after that device's last visit. Visitors with neither are not recorded.
Limits on the forms
To stop bots from guessing codes or sending spam, the code form and the contact form each accept only a few attempts a minute from one network address. The address is kept for about a minute for that purpose and then dropped.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel, which logs each request (the page, the time, the network address and the browser), as any web host does. NGCC5 can see those logs for up to thirty days.
No third-party tracking
This site loads no analytics, advertising or social-media scripts, and no third-party fonts. Images, fonts and code are served from this site's own address, and the visit record described above is kept in this site's own database.
