Platform · AIOP

The platform engine. Build once, govern everywhere.

AIOP preserves the reusable ontology, graph, policy, connector, execution, evidence, and verification architecture needed to build future domain-specific platforms without rebuilding the foundation each time.

01 / The architecture

Seven layers every platform inherits.

The reusable core, as NGCC5 names it. Each layer is a capability future domain platforms are built on rather than rebuilt.

02 / Common core, controlled variation

A common core with controlled variation.

The majority of the platform's value comes from a reusable core: monitoring, correlation, drilldown, analysis, workflow, approvals, action control, verification, documentation, communication, tracking, and analytics. Market-specific configurations address terminology, data sources, assets, risk thresholds, regulations, safety requirements, and reporting. This allows geographic and industry expansion without rebuilding the operating model for every new client.

Pion is not ubiquitous because every market uses the same equipment. It is ubiquitous because every market must solve the same operational challenge: turning fragmented conditions into governed, verified outcomes.

04 / Reach

Not tied to one region, one cloud, or one industry.

The platform model is not tied to one physical region. It can provide centralized visibility across local, regional, national, and multinational operations while maintaining company, site, device, identity, policy, time-zone, language, data-residency, and regulatory context. Deployment architecture and control authority can be adapted to cloud, on-premises, hybrid, sovereign, and segmented OT environments.

03 / The operating model

One governed lifecycle, from signal to record.

The core operating model from NGCC5's Feature Guide, condensed.

  1. 01Receive signals
  2. 02Establish tenant, client, site, system, device, user and time context
  3. 03Correlate and normalize
  4. 04Assess severity, impact, urgency and confidence
  5. 05Generate findings, recommendations and candidate actions
  6. 06Classify the action: read-only, simulated, approval-gated or executable
  7. 07Route approvals
  8. 08Send approved commands
  9. 09Capture responses, results, failures and rollback
  10. 10Preserve the audit trail
  11. 11Close and report — technical, client, compliance, executive
  12. 12Retain context for learning

05 / The portfolio

A credible path beyond Pion.

AIOP is designed to separate invariant platform capabilities from market-specific domain packs, allowing NGCC5 to pursue multiple products while preserving common governance and evidence controls.
